After this post, prosecutor Geoffrey Berman initiated legal proceedings and requested data from companies such as Apple, AT&T, and Citibank to identify the author of the post.
Official investigations have repeatedly dismissed the «body swap» theory. The conclusions state that Epstein died by suicide, caused by guard negligence and procedural failures, including falsified logs and non-functional cameras.
Nevertheless, conspiracy theories persist, partly due to the circumstances of Epstein«s death and his lenient sentence in 2008. The new document leak has only fueled speculation, although no evidence of a swap has been found.
