Dry fountain, greenery, and a chapel planned for Nizhnevartovsk's 8A microdistrict
The large-scale project implementation is estimated to take between two and three years.
In Nizhnevartovsk, plans for the improvement of the 8A microdistrict near the Lenin–Chapaev ring were discussed. A green park for city residents to relax will spread over more than 5 hectares.
According to Stroikompleks Yugra (the Construction Complex of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug–Yugra), a green zone will be created on the wasteland: trees, shrubs, and other vegetation will be planted to create the feeling of a real forest within the city. Pedestrian paths will appear. A dry fountain is planned for the central part of the park.
Children«s playgrounds will be installed, organically integrated into the terrain—with hills, lagoons, and natural materials instead of plastic. A sports ground and a workout area with many horizontal bars are provided. The idea of a skate park was abandoned because it would create too much noise for residents.
Also, closer to the Lenin–Chapaev ring, a temple-chapel will appear, which is set to become a «cultural beacon» on the corner of the block.
The space will have everything necessary for comfort. There will be parking lots, some of which will be free and publicly accessible. Garages where the roof of the cooperative will be improved. An expanded area for dog walking. Pergolas with swings, coffee corners (with large coffee machines), and restrooms.
«This was a presentation of the concept—a »fine-tuning« taking into account the opinion of the citizens. The implementation of such a large-scale project will take approximately 2–3 years. The next step is the refinement of the sketches (including the fountain!) and the presentation of the final appearance,» specified Stroikompleks Yugra.
Earlier we wrote that in Nizhnevartovsk, traffic will be closed on the «Begushchaya Lan» (Running Deer) interchange. The overpass across the railway is awaiting repair.
