Drone Threat Lifted in Stavropol After 10 Hours

Early on the morning of January 22, the drone threat regime was lifted in the region after lasting about 10 hours. No reports of downed drones or casualties were issued.
The region«s governor, Vladimir Vladimirov, warned in his Telegram channel about the imposition of restrictions on January 21 at 7:49 p.m. Residents were asked to seek shelter in rooms with load-bearing walls and away from windows.
The regime was only lifted the following day, January 22, at 5:57 a.m., with the restrictions lasting about 10 hours. As of now, there is no information about drones downed over Stavropol. However, other regions were mentioned in the Russian Defense Ministry«s report. From 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on January 21, 17 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft of the airplane type were destroyed over various regions of the country.
Recall that on January 14, UAVs attempted to attack Nevinnomyssk. Air defense systems were activated against them. As a result of the drone crashes, a warehouse on the outskirts of the city and several parked cars caught fire. As mayor Mikhail Minenkov reported, one of the drones crashed near a residential building on Baumana Street. Residents of nearby buildings were evacuated for safety reasons, and special services began neutralizing the debris, which was successfully completed by midday.
