Drone Danger Declared in Volgograd Oblast
In Volgograd Oblast, a drone danger regime has been introduced. Specialists recommend residents avoid open spaces and stay away from windows.

On the morning of 2 February, residents of Volgograd Oblast received SMS alerts from the RSChS (Unified State System for Emergency Prevention and Response) announcing the introduction of a drone danger regime. This was the first such activation of the day, coming shortly after midnight, then canceled around 5 a.m., and reinstated about an hour later.
The official message from the agency stated: «Attention! A »Drone Danger« has been declared on the territory of Volgograd Oblast. Remain calm. Avoid open areas. Do not approach windows. Be vigilant and careful!»
Following this, the Volgograd airport activated plan «Kover» (Carpet), a protocol for diverting flights due to potential threats. According to the online board, Aeroflot flights SU 1759 and SU 1758, traveling to and from Moscow, are each delayed by approximately two hours. The arrival of Pobeda flight DP 6965 from the capital, scheduled for 09:45, has been rescheduled to 10:05.
Earlier, the drone danger regime had already been declared on the night of 2 February and during the morning hours of 1 February.
