Dispensary month for seniors begins in Buzdyaksky District
In Buzdyak Hospital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a specialized dispensary month has begun for residents over 65. The event is organized under the national project "Long and Active Life".

Ninety-one elderly residents have undergone checkups in Buzdyaksky District’s preventive health month.
Preventive checkups for the elderly are a priority of modern healthcare. Regular examinations help detect diseases at early stages, when treatment is most effective, and extend active longevity.
To date, 91 people from the target group have undergone clinical examination. All received a full range of mandatory tests, including the first and second stages.
Basic procedures include: complete blood count, fecal occult blood test (screening for gastrointestinal cancer), determination of cholesterol and glucose levels. Instrumental methods: electrocardiography, fluorography. Physical examination: anthropometry, blood pressure monitoring.
For women, a gynecologist consultation and mammography are mandatory – key tests for early diagnosis of breast cancer.
If abnormalities or risk factors are identified during the first stage, the patient is referred to the second stage for in-depth diagnostics.
