Yaroslavl continues its large-scale renovation of the city center. As part of creating a unified pedestrian zone, repairs have covered Nakhimson, Deputatskaya, Kirov, Maksimov, and Andropov streets. Sections where traffic previously passed will be turned into a themed pedestrian quarter.
A fountain featuring ballerina figures is planned, with designs still being refined.

A project with a cinematic slant was previously presented for Nakhimson Street: a popcorn fountain, bronze sculptures, and statues of movie characters. Now the Yaroslavl Region Design Institute has unveiled ideas for Deputatskaya – it will receive a theatrical design.
The proposal includes a GoboPro LED projector and a small theater-styled house.

The concept includes several key elements. A fountain with ballerina figures could take center stage – their appearance will be further refined. The street also plans to install a GoboPro LED projector and a small theater house. At the entrance to the pedestrian zone from Pervomayskaya Street, light installations reminiscent of a theater curtain will appear. Several options for lampposts are provided – some have already been implemented on Maksimov Street. Among the small architectural forms are semicircular benches and chairs styled as theater masks. The exact list of elements to be included in the final version of the Deputatskaya Street renovation will be specified.
