Residents of the SNT «Polet» (a dacha cooperative) in Ugdanskoye rural settlement of Chita District fear they will be left without electricity because their accounts have been blocked by the tax service, and they cannot pay for power. This was reported to a Chita.Ru correspondent by one of the local residents.
«It»s a crisis situation. The settlement is under threat of electricity supply interruption. The account has been blocked by the Federal Tax Service (FTS), which prevents paying Chitaenergosbyt for consumed electricity. The report for three quarters of last year has not been submitted to the tax office. The current board has been unable to rectify the situation for four months now. Financial documents have not been handed over by the former chairman Tolstikhin A.S., and he himself ignores citizens« demands to visit the tax office,» the interlocutor said.
According to her, while disputes with the SNT chairman are ongoing, residents who conscientiously pay their bills may be left without electricity, which is especially frightening during frosts.
The press service of Chitaenergosbyt told the correspondent that in the SNT, there are 21 consumers, contracts with them are concluded directly, and they pay freely themselves.
However, a local resident clarified that in the SNT, besides the 21 people who are connected directly, there are about 200 more people for whom electricity is paid by the treasurer from an account that is currently blocked. Also, the interlocutor expressed fears that Chitaenergosbyt will not wait long for payment and will simply cut off the power.
The company said that the last payment came on December 17, and a new payment period began on January 15.
«In case of non-payment for consumed electrical energy, the company has the right to send a pre-trial claim and recover the debt from the legal entity through the court. During this period, electricity will not be cut off,» the company clarified.
