The number of free wireless internet access points for the public will be increased in Tula Region. This became known during an operational meeting of Governor Dmitry Milyaev.
Thus, new Wi-Fi access points will begin to appear in cultural institutions— museums, theaters, and souvenir shops in the region.
Currently, about a thousand internet access points are installed in Tula Region. The majority of them are installed in cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, and public spaces. Additionally, Wi-Fi is provided at some public bus stops.
Naturally, most of the access points are concentrated in Tula— as the regional center.
