New communication infrastructure has been installed near Samara. After the telecom equipment was launched, residents of cottage villages along the Kondurcha River gained access to the MegaFon network. This was necessary due to growing demand. The popularity of suburban housing in Samara Oblast continues to rise, and connectivity today is a key factor in location selection alongside transport accessibility and utilities.

The coverage area of the new telecom equipment includes several developing cottage villages in Krasnoyarsky District. The LTE (4G) network coverage on regional highway 36K-374 has also changed.

The equipment supports mid and high-band LTE frequencies. This affects signal range, data download speeds, and the ability to make VoLTE calls.

«Cottage villages are often built far from usual infrastructure, including base stations. Therefore, developing these territories is one of the priority areas. When planning the network, we rely on anonymized data about subscriber movements and load on existing base stations. This approach allows us to build and modernize infrastructure ahead of time so that people have access to digital services from the first days of living in a new home,» — said the operator«s director in Samara Oblast, Nikita Pikulnikov.

According to analysts, residents of a small settlement near Samara, for example the village of Malaya Tsarevshchina, collectively speak about 380,000 minutes per month and consume over 28 terabytes of traffic. This amount of data is enough to watch 20,000 full-length feature films on a smartphone.
