Construction of Kazan Marina Resort to Begin in 2027

In Laishevo, construction of Kazan Marina — an all-season resort with a full-cycle marina on the Volga River — is planned to begin in 2027. This was announced by Sergei Ivanov, chairman of the State Committee for Tourism, at a final board meeting.
On an area of 72.8 hectares, nine hotels will be located, and nearby a yacht marina for 300 yachts will be built. The project«s cost is estimated at 29.4 billion rubles (approximately $309 million at current rates).
“In 2026, state expert review is planned. Construction of access roads, installation of water supply, gas, electricity, and other infrastructure is scheduled to begin in 2027,” said Ivanov.
Recall that in February 2025, it was announced that in Kazan, on the Lokomotiv peninsula, they intend to open the largest yacht harbor in Russia. Its total area will be 65 hectares, with 40 hectares dedicated to the yacht harbor. The project could be implemented within five years.
