In Volgograd, the company «Concessii Vodoprovoda» (Water Supply Concessions) announced two electronic auctions for the design and construction of two phases of the water supply system for the Kirovsky and Sovetsky districts.

Initially, the procurement was organized by MUP «Gorodskoi Vodokanal Volgograda» (Volgograd Municipal Water Utility), but now «Concessii Vodoprovoda» has been appointed as the general contractor.

In autumn 2024, the municipal enterprise planned to spend nearly 1.7 billion rubles (approximately $17 million at current rates) on this project.

The first phase of work is scheduled until 1 December 2027. It includes:

The customer for the works remains MUP «Gorodskoi Vodokanal Volgograda», which finances the project from its own funds.

Following the auctions, both procurements were won by OOO «Concessii Vodoprovoda» (Water Supply Concessions LLC). The company agreed to perform the works for the first phase for 646,017,952 rubles (approximately $6.46 million at current rates), and for the second — for 659,747,970 rubles (approximately $6.60 million at current rates).
