Company and Director Fined for Corruption in Staraya Russa
Staraya Russa prosecutors fined an LLC and its director 70,000 rubles ($778) for failing to notify a former municipal employee's previous employer of the hiring in time.

The Staraya Russa inter-district prosecutor«s office conducted an inspection of compliance with anti-corruption legislation. It was found that in August 2025, the director of LLC Graf Muravyov hired a female employee who had previously held the position of chief specialist of the organizational department of the committee for organizational work and personnel policy of the administration of the Staraya Russa district.
In violation of the requirements of the Federal Law «On Combating Corruption», information about the conclusion of an employment contract with this employee was not sent to her previous place of service within the established 10-day period.
Based on this fact, the inter-district prosecutor initiated administrative offense cases against the organization and its director under Article 19.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (illegal recruitment of a former municipal employee). Based on the inspection materials, the legal entity and the official were fined a total of 70,000 rubles (approximately $778 at current rates). Currently, the violations have been eliminated.
