Collapsed house on Gorokhovaya seized for state needs

The authorities of St. Petersburg have seized for state needs an emergency house on Gorokhovaya Street. The building is planned to be restored after the resettlement of residents is completed.

The government of St. Petersburg issued a decree on the seizure for state needs of house No. 73 on Gorokhovaya Street, which partially collapsed in December 2023. The document signed by the governor was published on February 3.
The Admiralteysky District Administration and the City Property Relations Committee have been instructed to carry out all necessary legal procedures related to the seizure of premises in the building.
Vice-Governor Yevgeny Razumishkin will monitor the implementation of this order.
Earlier, residents of the house drew attention to the ongoing destruction of the building. The Admiralteysky District Administration confirmed that after full resettlement and formalization of the seizure for state needs, the house is planned to be reconstructed. The process of resettling residents continued in January 2026.
