Cleanest Sidewalk in Yekaterinburg Gets a Dozen Janitors
Residents of Yekaterinburg are complaining about the city«s snow removal — driveways and roads are poorly cleared. At the end of last week, residents were also outraged by the mud. But as it turns out, not everywhere is there cause for complaint.
All available utility workers were sent to Lenin Avenue to create the cleanest sidewalk in the city.
A sidewalk was found in the city that was cleaned down to the tile. A squad of janitors landed on Lenin Avenue on February 3 (neighboring the residence of the governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast). To clear the snow, about a dozen utility workers gathered there, working up a sweat.
Earlier, E1.RU editor-in-chief Marina Malkova shared her opinion in an author«s column about why the streets in Yekaterinburg are black and how to escape this scourge.
