City to auction barrack site near Stanislavsky Square

The Novosibirsk city administration decided to put up for auction a site with a barrack near Stanislavsky Square. A resolution on the planned integrated development of the territory was published on the municipal portal.

According to the document, they plan to sell a 1.3-hectare plot within the boundaries of Stepnaya and Tikhvinskaya streets in the Leninsky district of the city. The deadline for development is 2030.

Exactly when the plot will be put up for auction is not yet known. The developer who buys the site will have to relocate residents and demolish the barrack at 11 Tikhvinskaya Street.

«Before the actual resettlement of the building, all residents have been offered units in the temporary housing stock. As of today, one family is living in the temporary housing stock,» reported the press center of the city administration.

On the site of the two-story building, the company will be able to build a residential complex ranging from 9 to 30 stories.

Recently, the Novosibirsk city administration decided to sell 46 hectares at auction in the Oktyabrsky district. The winning developer will have to relocate residents from about 300 buildings, including private houses and apartment buildings.
