Cedric «The Entertainer» comments on Trump«s reaction to a joke made at the Grammy Awards.
Cedric «The Entertainer» did not remain silent about Donald Trump«s sharp reaction to Trevor Noah»s joke about «Epstein Island» made at the Grammy Awards. The comedian stated directly that the former president loves to insult others but cannot stand criticism himself.
According to the media, Cedric commented on the situation by recalling Trump«s previous conflicts with hosts. He said that Trump does not hesitate to call people ugly or hand out insults left and right, but as soon as someone responds in kind, he immediately tries to use his influence and power to exert pressure.
The cause of the scandal was Trevor Noah«s joke at the ceremony. The host joked that the »Song of the Year« award is a coveted trophy for artists, almost like Greenland for Trump, adding that since Epstein Island is no longer available, Trump »needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.« This remark was later actively discussed on social media.
Cedric «The Entertainer» called Trump«s tactic of threatening lawsuits and trying to financially crush opponents outright bullying, not a show of strength. The comedian noted that if Trump were on equal footing with everyone, he could respond to criticism however he likes. But in the current situation, in his opinion, such behavior is pure hypocrisy.
