Career Growth: Chemical Company Supports Employee Education
On the eve of Student«s Day, the PMU branch of JSC »Uralchem« in the city of Perm summarized the results of its social support program for personnel, which assists in obtaining higher education.
The company provides and pays for study leave to employees who are successfully studying via correspondence and part-time forms in educational institutions with state accreditation. Currently, 43 employees of PMU are receiving education at Russian universities.
The most popular remains Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU) — chosen by 28 people. Another 10 students are studying at the Perm State Agrarian and Technological University named after D.N. Pryanishnikov. In addition, employees choose universities in other cities, such as Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod. Among the most popular fields of study are chemical technology, agrochemistry, and soil science.
Employees with higher education, with the support of the employer, also have the opportunity to improve their qualifications. For example, at PNRPU they are mastering a program in «digital technologies in the chemical industry.»

The PMU branch of JSC «Uralchem» systematically cooperates with the main universities of the Perm Krai under signed cooperation agreements. The universities develop individual study schedules for the company«s employees so they can combine work and study.
