In the Lazarevsky district of Sochi, a joint raid was conducted by MUP Sochiteploenergo (Municipal Unitary Enterprise Sochiteploenergo) and the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP). Specialists visited the apartments of debtors who owed significant amounts for heating and hot water.

In one day, they visited seven apartments where residents had overdue payments.

— «All debtors were handed demands for payment. One of the non-payers faced a serious measure — his vehicle was seized. This raid clearly demonstrates that evading utility payments leads to real consequences,» — reported the press service of MUP Sochiteploenergo.

If utility payments are not made on time, penalties include fines, asset seizure, freezing of bank accounts, a ban on foreign travel, and recovery of additional costs related to court proceedings and enforcement fees. MUP Sochiteploenergo reminds that according to housing legislation, heating and hot water bills must be paid monthly by the 10th.
