Cafe-dining hall opens at Volgograd Regional Hospital No. 1
Visitors to the hospital can enjoy meals in a spacious dining hall with a thoughtfully curated menu.
On the grounds of the region«s largest multidisciplinary clinic, a modern space has appeared where all who wish can eat deliciously and comfortably: staff, patients, and visitors.
The dining area provides a cozy atmosphere and seats 75 people in a modern setting.
The cafe-dining hall was created as part of a full cycle of work — from concept development to final finishing. A special design project was conceived and implemented, aimed at making visitors feel cozy here, almost like at home. As a result of the large-scale modernization, the dining hall looks like a cozy cafe: beautiful comfortable furniture, flowers, books, modern interior, pleasant music, split systems. The dining hall occupies 152 m² and is designed for 75 seats.
And for organizing full-fledged food production, the space was fully equipped with modern technological equipment. In addition to new refrigerators and freezers, combi steamers — «smart ovens» — now operate here. They steam, bake, and stew dishes without frying in oil, which allows for truly dietary, yet juicy and tasty food. This «gentle» cooking method is the foundation of the healthy eating concept in the new dining hall.
The menu itself was carefully developed by chefs and technologists. Visitors can assess the quality and taste of the food through surveys: on each table, there is a sticker with a QR code that leads to a feedback collection form.
The opening of the new dining hall is not just an improvement in dining conditions, but also an important step towards enhancing patient service quality and staff comfort.
— We have over 1,400 employees, and of course, it is very important that medical staff have the opportunity to eat hot, healthy, and tasty food, — shared Alina Grozenok, head of the medical marketing and public relations department at Volgograd Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1 (VOKB No. 1). — This also affects the health and well-being of medical personnel who work on a tight schedule with a large flow of patients: annually, over 130,000 people seek care at the clinic, and we perform about 16,000 operations per year. And by coming to a clean, cozy dining hall, employees can not only eat but also take a break from work, rest, and regain strength. And in such a restored state, go help people.
The new establishment is located next to building No. 10 — it is a separate two-story building, with the dining hall on the first floor. Hours of operation: from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00.
The project was implemented by the company «Vivo Market», which provides food for social institutions in the city.
