Bomb Threat Reported at Yessentuki School No. 1

The school day in Yessentuki (Stavropol Krai) began with alarming news — at 08:26 a bomb threat was reported at School No. 1.
Mayor Vladimir Krutnikov reported on his Telegram channel that all emergency services — police, rescuers, and dog handlers — arrived at the scene. An inspection of the premises and surrounding area is currently underway. Students and staff were evacuated and sent home for the duration of the check.
«I ask everyone to remain calm and follow official announcements,» wrote the mayor.
It should be recalled that similar alarming reports have been received before. Thus, on October 2, 2025, anonymous bomb threats were received at three schools in the region — in the city of Kislovodsk, the stanitsa (Cossack village) of Yessentukskaya, and the city of Lermontov. In all cases, special services inspected the buildings, and the threats were not confirmed.
