Boiling Water Floods Volgograd Building, Residents to Appeal to Governor

Residents of the apartment building at 12 Saushinskaya Street intend to appeal to the Prosecutor General«s Office and Governor Andrei Bocharov to save their dilapidated building from flooding. They sent a video appeal for help to the editorial office of V1.RU.
«Our house has been slated for demolition since 2017,» complain the residents. «Two weeks ago, our heating radiators started bursting, and yesterday a riser pipe ruptured in one of the apartments. Boiling water is pouring onto the floor. The emergency service came and said they couldn»t do anything. The plumbers came and left. In the apartment where the riser burst, there is a woman who is visually impaired. Officials said they know about the problem, but nothing has progressed. On the first floors, it«s already very bad; boiling water is pouring everywhere. All this is pouring on people»s heads, all walls are wet, the second floors are simply suffocating, like in a bathhouse. And on the first floors, it«s just a pool! Yes, please help us solve this problem because the administration is inactive, the management company »Zhemchuzhina« is also inactive. The forewoman listened, hung up, and is doing nothing more.»
At the emergency service of the management company «Zhemchuzhina», which the V1.RU correspondent reached by phone, they were surprised that people are complaining about the heating system rupture and assured that everything has already been repaired. V1.RU is clarifying the further fate of the dilapidated building with the Volgograd administration.
«According to the management company, specialists have begun work to localize and eliminate the damage on the internal building networks. Heating supply has been suspended during the work. The management company plans to complete repair work today,» clarified the city hall. «Previously, this house was recognized as dilapidated, and currently it is included in the active regional program for relocating dilapidated buildings. The measures to relocate the apartment building are planned to be completed by the end of this year.»
