Almost three days after Nancy Guthrie«s disappearance, traces of dried blood are still visible on the patio in front of her home in Arizona, media report. Law enforcement has completed the crime scene investigation, and published footage shows splatters on the tiles at the front door.
Authorities believe Nancy Guthrie was kidnapped and led out through the front door.

The doorbell camera was reportedly ripped off. Nancy Guthrie was last seen alive on Saturday, January 31, after dinner and a game of mahjong with her daughter Annie. Alarm was raised by friends from church when she failed to show up for the morning service.
Nancy Guthrie requires daily medication, without which her life is at risk.

According to authorities, there are signs of a break-in. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos stated that they believe the elderly woman was forcibly removed from the house at night and that it was not voluntary. He emphasized that the disappearance is not related to dementia, noting that Nancy was «of sound mind and clear consciousness.»
The missing woman«s health condition is particularly concerning. She requires daily medication, and without it within 24 hours of her disappearance, a fatal outcome is possible. Nancy Guthrie has heart problems, high blood pressure, and a pacemaker. A smartwatch synced with the device stopped receiving a signal around 2 a.m. on Sunday, which may indicate she was taken far from home.
Savannah Guthrie will not attend the Olympic opening to remain near the search for her mother.
