The story involving St. Petersburg blogger Anastasia, who moved to Vladivostok and sparked a heated reaction with her videos about life in the coastal capital, has taken a new turn. A few days after publishing the controversial series of videos, the girl publicly addressed her critics.

A journalist noted that prior to this, the girl had deleted two first videos from her main feed — now they are only available in the reels tab. Only a video about the city«s merits, with questionable praise and a narrative tone, remains prominently on her personal page.

In stories on her social networks, Anastasia summarized the unfolding scandal. According to her, the reaction to her personal impressions was unexpectedly harsh.

«It turns out that my personal experience — if you voice it — is »whining« and »you shouldn«t have come here at all»,« wrote the blogger.

She emphasized that love for the city does not mean a ban on discussing its difficulties.

«If someone has everything perfect here — I am sincerely happy. But my experience does not become fabricated because of that,» noted Anastasia.

Separately, the girl pointed out that the discussion about Vladivostok, according to her, quickly turned into a discussion about her personality.

«This usually happens when arguments run out. Insults are just a bad argument. This is not a defense of the city,» she stated.

At the same time, the blogger emphasized that the mass hate from city residents could not change her attitude towards the coastal capital.

«I still consider Vladivostok a beautiful and complex city and still have the right to speak about it honestly, even if it is unpleasant for someone,» wrote Anastasia, adding that she considers further comments on this topic unnecessary.

In support of her words, she attached to the publication comments from like-minded followers. Among them are residents of Vladivostok and users who moved from St. Petersburg, who agreed with the voiced problems and expressed surprise at the scale of negativity.

«I am from Vladivostok and agree with all the points,» «They just don»t know what it«s like to live well,» «I also moved from St. Petersburg and fully understand this pain,» are stated in the selected reviews.

Earlier, we wrote about how residents of Vladivostok reacted to Anastasia«s series of videos. The townspeople split into two camps — a team of ardent defenders of the Far Eastern capital and a union of people who also had something bottled up about life in the city by the sea. No one remained indifferent. Details are at the link.
