Conflict between Blake Lively and her colleague on the film «It Ends With Us», director and actor Justin Baldoni, has reached a new level. According to media reports, personal messages, letters, and testimony were released as part of the legal process, involving other well-known figures.

According to the unsealed documents, Lively allegedly wrote to Ben Affleck, describing the filming as «the most upsetting experience» of her career. In an email she allegedly sent, the actress claimed she had to rewrite the entire script and essentially direct the filming because of the chaos she said Baldoni created. She also hinted that he and his team are part of a «cult.» It is reported that Affleck did not respond to this email.
Lively accused her film colleague of sexual harassment and stalking in the lawsuit.

The author of the book «It Ends With Us», Colleen Hoover, and her friend Taryn Fisher were also drawn into the story. In a group chat with Lively, they discussed Baldoni. According to the documents, Lively agreed when Fisher called him a «sociopath.» The actress herself described Baldoni in correspondence as someone who «acts like a furious boar.» Hoover, it is reported, wrote to Lively that Baldoni is «too busy playing the victim» and expressed dissatisfaction that he wanted his name three times on the film poster.
Baldoni previously filed a $400 million counterclaim that was dismissed in June 2025.

Actress Isabela Ferrer also gave testimony. She said she felt uncomfortable when Baldoni, according to her, called one of her scenes with a partner «hot.» Ferrer also said that the director suggested she lick a spoon with cookie dough in a certain scene and look at a colleague, which she felt was inappropriate for the image of a 16-year-old character.
The trial in the Lively-Baldoni lawsuit is set for May.

Actress Jenny Slate also criticized Baldoni. In her messages, she called him «the biggest clown,» «an intense narcissist,» and «a fake ally.» Slate claimed the filming was «disgusting and disturbing» and expressed support for Lively, who, she said, endured «crazy things» from Baldoni and producer Jamie Heath.
A representative for Taylor Swift denies her involvement in the case.

Taylor Swift«s name also appears several times in the documents. In one correspondence, the singer allegedly called Baldoni a «creature» who «came out of her shell.» She wrote to a friend that she is ready to «do anything for her» when Lively asked her to approve her version of the script without even reading it. In another message, Swift reportedly addressed Lively about the tension in their friendship amid the legal battle.
