Additional base stations were launched in gardening communities in the Chelyabinsk region. The changes affected SNT (gardening non-profit partnerships) «Metallist-2» in Chelyabinsk, SNT «Stroitel-1» in Magnitogorsk, and SNT «Svetlenky» in the village of Vishnevogorsk.

The new infrastructure was needed to reduce network load and provide local residents and gardeners with access to digital services, mobile internet, and voice communication during peak hours. The base stations operate in the mid-frequency range.

All work was carried out by MegaFon specialists.

— In the summer, residents of the Chelyabinsk region spend a lot of time on their garden plots in large cities or beyond. It is important that communication works reliably and subscribers are not deprived of their usual digital comfort. A well-planned modernization program helps maintain mobile internet speeds. Changes in communication quality could be noticed by residents of the villages of Medvedevo, Kundryavy, and Travniki, — added the operator«s director in the Chelyabinsk region, Gennady Zhukov.

This year, specialists have carried out over 80 technical works on telecom facilities in the region, including in popular recreation areas in the Chebarkul district.
