The Novosibirsk city hall will sell three barracks and several administrative buildings near a park in Oktyabrsky District at auction. A new residential complex will be built in their place. The developer who wins the auction must resettle 36 families.

The decision on a comprehensive redevelopment project covering 0.6 hectares within the boundaries of Voinskaya, Nikitina, Proletarskaya, and Dobrolyubova streets, near the Heroes of Donbas Square, was made to resettle dilapidated houses, the city hall press center clarified. The developer who wins the auction needs to resettle 36 families from barracks on Nikitina Street, numbers 99, 101, 103.

“New housing construction in accordance with the territory planning documentation will be supported by existing infrastructure facilities,” the city hall notes.

The auction is planned for the first quarter of this year. On the site, mid-rise and high-rise buildings can be constructed. Currently, besides residential houses, there are several administrative buildings on the territory. The developer will also demolish them.
