Barnaul discusses evening bus problems on two routes

Residents of the Nauchny Gorodok settlement in Barnaul discussed the operation of bus routes No. 25 and No. 32 with representatives of the city administration and the carrier. This was reported by the city administration.

The carrier«s work is currently under special scrutiny; fines are imposed for schedule violations, which has made it possible to achieve compliance with the schedule on routes serving the settlements of Gonyba and Nauchny Gorodok.

Residents confirmed that the situation has improved and that the operation of the routes during peak hours has normalized, but they drew the authorities« attention to problems with bus operations in the evening, as well as complaints about service quality and the sanitary condition of the vehicles.

The carrier acknowledged that difficulties remain on route No. 25 and urged passengers to report violations when paying fares bypassing the terminal. In addition, he promised to step up oversight of cleanliness on the buses.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to consider adjusting the schedules of routes No. 25 and No. 32 and to post timetables at the terminals. The issue remains under the control of the city authorities.
