The SFR (Social Fund of Russia) for Tyumen Oblast explained who receives the highest pensions. «The highest pensions go to pensioners among the flight test personnel — this is due to special risks, qualifications, and the specifics of the profession. The average pension in this category is about 133,000 rubles ($1,400). Increased payments also apply to citizens who worked in the Far North regions. Working and living conditions in these regions are taken into account when calculating. The average pension of northerners is about 40,000 rubles ($421),» the agency reported.
The value of pension points, on which the size of payments depends, will be increased. Indexation is planned twice: in February and April 2025.
