A resident of Klepikovsky District complained in comments to Pavel Malkov that since January 10, local villages have had no electricity supply, leaving people without gas and heating:

“Accidents all over the district, wires are snapping, poles and supports are falling. Problems with power lines (editor«s note). We»re already fed up with the constant lack of light. As if in the Stone Age, honestly. Rosseti keeps feeding us promises, but essentially, there«s a shortage of people and equipment. Crews are working, but to no avail. Constant emergency outages! It»s been three weeks already. People are freezing in their homes, not everyone has generators.”

The district administration responded to the local resident that power grids are operating around the clock, and 15 crews of energy workers are eliminating the consequences of bad weather, using 33 units of special equipment.

“Backup generators have been delivered to settlements where voltage disruptions occur on a prolonged basis. The district«s 112 service is collecting information around the clock to allocate resources and means. We will continue the work until all malfunctions are eliminated,” clarified the mayor»s office.
