Individual entrepreneur E.A. Bortsov, who organizes public catering at the cafe «Old Arkhangelsk,» was found guilty under Article 6.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for organizing public nutrition).

The sanction under the article provides for punishment in the form of an administrative fine from five thousand to ten thousand rubles (approximately $56–$111 at current rates) or administrative suspension of activities for up to ninety days.

«In the court session, the entrepreneur claimed that regular deratization is conducted at the cafe, and there are no rats in the premises. Moreover, currently, repair work is being carried out there and some violations have already been eliminated,» added the court.

The court suspended the operation of the cafe «Old Arkhangelsk» for 90 days.

Recall that the work of the Arkhangelsk restaurant «Olivier» was also suspended for 90 days after an inspection by Rospotrebnadzor. This decision was made by the Lomonosovsky District Court. It was in this establishment that schoolchildren ate, who fell ill with an intestinal infection.
