Almost 34,000 take part in Epiphany immersions in St. Petersburg
This year, 33,908 residents and visitors of the city participated in the traditional Epiphany immersions. The figure is about a thousand less than last year's turnout.

Epiphany immersions in St. Petersburg this year attracted 33,908 participants. According to the city committee on legality, law and order, and safety, this number is about a thousand less than last year«s figure, when 34,866 people took the plunge.

- The immersions took place over two days, January 18 and 19, at 17 specially equipped Jordan (blessed water holes).
- As the authorities reported, no incidents or emergencies were recorded during the events.
