Akhmatova's Poems Adorned a Facade for Leningrad Victory Day
In St. Petersburg, light projections illuminated buildings in honor of the 82nd anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the blockade. Among them are lines from Anna Akhmatova and commemorative postcards.

In St. Petersburg, light projections appeared on building facades, timed to the 82nd anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade. They were captured by a photographer from Fontanka on Monday, January 26.
At the building at 44B Shpalernaya Street, a light postcard was displayed, and at the building on Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt, 26-28, a poem by Anna Akhmatova was projected.
These installations recall the feat, courage, and heroism of the city«s residents during the blockade years. The projections can be admired until January 28.
