A new public zone will appear in the Main Fair House on Sovnarkomovskaya Street. It will be located in the Passage on the first floor, NN.RU was told by the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair.
Currently, the historic Main Fair House is undergoing renovations. After the completion of the current phase of work in 2026, part of the Passage is planned to open. This will become the new public zone with cafes, souvenir shops, and exhibition space. At the moment, access to the walls of the cultural heritage site is only open within the framework of certain events.
However, free movement of visitors through the congress center building in «self-guided tour» mode is not planned. This is related to safety, as large-scale events often take place at the Fair.
Previously, we reported that the ninth multicultural exhibition «Art Mir» will be held at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair from January 31 to February 8, 2026. This year, it is dedicated to introducing the cultural heritage of various countries and the diversity of traditions, languages, and arts, the organizers said.
