500,000 Ruble Fine for Bribe at Chelyabinsk Plant
A Chelyabinsk company has been fined 500,000 rubles (approximately $5,600 at current rates) for offering a bribe to a factory's production director.

The prosecutor«s office of the Tractorozavodsky District of Chelyabinsk uncovered a corruption violation at Financial and Industrial Company LLC (OOO Finansovo-promyshlennaya kompaniya). It was established that in March 2024, a representative of the organization gave 50,000 rubles (approximately $556 at current rates) to the plant»s production director. The money was intended to expedite product delivery outside the approved schedule, which infringed on the rights of other counterparties.
In connection with this, the prosecutor initiated an administrative case under Part 1 of Article 19.28 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation — illegal remuneration on behalf of a legal entity. A magistrate imposed a fine of 500,000 rubles.
The company appealed the ruling, but the Tractorozavodsky District Court of Chelyabinsk upheld it. As a result, the administrative fine was paid in full.
