Law enforcement agencies in the Lipetsk Region, including the Migration Department of the regional Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (UMVD) and the local Federal Security Service (FSB) directorate, conducted a preventive raid at two sawmills in the Usmansky District to monitor compliance with migration legislation. During the operation, officers identified ten foreign nationals from neighboring countries. Two of them were working in occupations not specified in their work patents, while eight others were working without any valid permits. All violators were held administratively liable under Part 1 of Article 18.10 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses and fined.

A separate protocol under Part 1.1 of Article 18.8 of the same code was drawn up for one detainee who lacked documents proving the legality of his stay in Russia. This migrant was fined and ordered to be forcibly deported from the country. He is currently held at the Center for Temporary Detention of Foreign Nationals of the UMVD in Lipetsk. Additionally, ten administrative cases were opened against employers who illegally hired foreign workers, under Part 1 of Article 18.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. No wanted individuals or persons linked to extremist activities were found among the foreign nationals. Such preventive measures to enforce migration law will continue in the future.
