A 37-year-old resident of the Zheleznodorozhny District of Ulyanovsk performed 150 hours of community service. He was engaged in cleaning streets and yards as part of the city’s beautification.
The man had not paid child support for his child. The court held him administratively liable under Article 5.35.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (CAO RF) and ordered community service. Bailiffs monitored the execution of the punishment. If the citizen does not resume child support payments, he faces criminal liability.
