For salting the fish, you will need the fish itself, salt, large boxes or crates, and a weight.

«The recipe for the most delicious fish. We salt either in a wooden box or, like us, in paper ones. We lay plywood on the bottom. Be sure to make holes in the bottom, cover it well with salt. For salting, asp, bream, and chub are best. We cover the fish well with salt. We put a heavier weight and forget about it for 21 days if the fish is large,» explains the village blogger. «About three weeks have passed, we take out the fish. It should be firm. If it»s soft — it means you didn«t maintain the temperature regime or the weight was too light. We wash the fish well with a brush and leave it to soak for about an hour. Once dried, we cut it into pieces. This is the delicious treat you get. With potatoes and bread — just the thing!»
