EU, South Korea, Uruguay Among Key Importers of Murmansk Fish

Murmansk Oblast«s fish and seafood are exported to numerous countries across the world.
Vladimir Putin stated that Russians eat too little fish and seafood. According to him, these products should be sold at affordable prices. We tell you where over 97,000 tons of fish and seafood were exported from Murmansk Oblast.
In the first ten months of 2025, specialists from the Severomorsk Interregional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor (the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) inspected and processed for export 97.1 thousand tons of fish and seafood from Murmansk Oblast.
The main buyers were countries of the European Union, China, South Korea, the UAE, Morocco, Uruguay, and other states. The largest share of products — over 61.3 thousand tons — was sent to Europe. About 23.2 thousand tons of fish and fish products were exported to China, as well as live Kamchatka crab: 245 tons were delivered by road and another 61.2 tons — by air.
