The coffee shop as a business... There«s not much to say, everyone is having a hard time right now — the tax burden is high, the cost of raw materials is rising, payments are increasing. Accordingly, the space I had at Sony Krivoy, 51, became impractical, the businessman told 74.RU. In addition to all that, I got a bit tired of the restaurant business, so I decided to change my lifestyle a little.
However, this does not mean that Doza Coffee will close as a business.
Doza Coffee is not just a coffee shop. My business is related to selling coffee to bars, coffee shops, restaurants, training staff, and the coffee shop was, so to speak, a base from which external trade was conducted, explained Sergey Kurebeda. I continue to sell coffee. DoZaCoffee Company hasn«t gone anywhere. It exists, but in a different format.
Fans of the project have already taken note of the coffee shop«s closure.
One of the very first specialty coffee shops has closed. They«ve been working since 2014, one of our readers lamented.
Sergey Kurebeda, however, reassured coffee lovers: the Doza Coffee format may soon appear in other projects.
To be honest, I planned a vacation for February, but on the 21st I received an offer, and I will be working as a head barista in several coffee shops. One of them is in Chelyabinsk, the entrepreneur said. On Tuesday I am meeting with representatives of a Chelyabinsk coffee shop who want to see the menu that was at DoZa Coffee — with the same recipes, the same technologies. And, accordingly, I will make an announcement on my page. People will be able to buy beans and drinks there.
Doza Coffee was not just a coffee shop; it also hosted monodramas. We covered this in more detail in the project A Small Matter.
