Ufa Residents on 'Body for Money' Pageant Claims
Public opinions in Ufa vary on the candid disclosures from a regional beauty pageant.
Every show and competition has a «dark side» that viewers are unaware of. But participants of a regional beauty pageant in Bashkortostan still dared to share details of the backstage — they told of insults, thefts, and how girls were invited to a sauna or offered to buy the main title.
Residents of Ufa, apparently, were not ready for such candor and reacted ambiguously to the confession.
«Yes, everyone knows about this — the rich choose brides for a while. Someone doesn»t miss any competition to pick the next doll,« shared a commentator.
Another user stated that a girl entering the modeling business should understand what it is.
«It»s like after a date. If you«re invited for tea, it means there might be more than just tea. And innocence is already perceived as stupidity or foolishness (alas, different times, different morals).
«She sells her body for money. And it doesn»t matter how — for public viewing (beauty pageants) or for individual use in a brothel,« writes one of our site»s guests.
«Poor man from Moscow, the competition organizer. (...) Simply awful, and he supposedly doesn»t brush his teeth. Both girls are remarkably selfish, and the curator is some kind of unclear woman. (...) In general, leaving a man without the desired cake, such cruelty hasn«t been seen in competitions before,» fumes a man in the comments.
«Here it is, the dark side of these shows, competitions! And then the electorate is surprised why such terrible winners! Because they weren»t afraid to go to the sauna or to bed!« the user even recalled the scandal at »Miss Russia« last year. Then, viewers were dissatisfied with the choice of winner due to her appearance and behavior at the competition — they say she didn»t even attend the trainings and still won, which means she supposedly has «protection.»
