Tickets for the film «Avatar: Flame and Ashes» in Kurgan cinemas are being sold for more than other screenings. Watching the premiere at Ultra Cinema (Hypercity shopping center) costs from 400 to 550 rubles (about $4–$6 at current rates) (for comparison — tickets for other screenings cost 220-320 rubles (about $2–$4)). At «Pushka» (Pushkinsky shopping center), tickets for the new «Avatar» are even more expensive — 450-650 rubles (about $5–$7) (other movies can be watched for 250-420 rubles (about $3–$5)).

«Avatar: Flame and Ashes» is the third film in Hollywood«s most profitable franchise in cinema history. Viewers will be shown the new part of the adventures of Marine Jake Sully, who was confined to a wheelchair but gained the ability to transfer his consciousness into the body of a member of the Na»vi race. The soldier«s worldview changes over time, and in the war between humanity and the blue-skinned humanoids, he sides with the latter. In the new part of »Avatar,« Jake with his alien wife experiences the death of their son and prepares to face a hostile tribe and the military aggression of a human corporation.

The first «Avatar» became the highest-grossing film in cinema history, earning over $2.9 billion. The second part slowed down a bit, earning $2.3 billion. The release of the third part is not yet over, but the film is predicted to earn approximately $1.5 billion. The final part of «Avatar» is set to be released in 2031. The director, screenwriter, and producer of the film is James Cameron (known for «Titanic,» the first parts of «The Terminator,» and other cult films).
