In Tolyatti, the largest handicraft store has closed

This store was the biggest in Tolyatti for people who enjoy making crafts.
Hard times are coming for handicraft and creativity enthusiasts in Tolyatti. Specialized stores have begun closing in the city, leaving residents without convenient spots to buy materials.

Tolyatti residents have been advised to travel to Samara for their shopping needs.
The first loss was the well-known store for decor, hobbies, and handicrafts «Leonardo», located in the Park-Haul shopping center. It operated its last day on February 1.
«Dear customers! We will be happy to see you in the stores of Samara,» the announcement said.
This news saddened many Tolyatti craftspeople, for whom the store was the main venue for inspiration and purchases.
However, this series of closures apparently will not end here. According to information from various sources, following «Leonardo», the framing workshop «Chyornaya Rechka» (Black River), located in the Kapital shopping center on Dzerzhinsky Street, will also wind down its business in the city. The exact dates of its closure have not yet been announced. Thus, in the near future, Tolyatti may be left without any specialized stores for creativity.
Tolyatti residents believe that specialized departments could not compete with online platforms.
«Marketplaces have already buried more than one store,» commented the townspeople.
The year for the business sphere of the automotive city began with losses — a legendary cafe-bakery closed, where residents from all districts bought bread. Almost simultaneously with «Not a Little Prince», another popular establishment closed. This was a fast-food restaurant with topokki, kimbap, and jelly desserts in the shape of cute bears from the well-known Korean franchise «Chico».
