Alisa, Pilot, Sektor Gaza Headline Okna Otkroy

The anniversary festival «Okna Otkroy» will take place on July 25 in the Park of the 300th Anniversary in St. Petersburg. The event will start at 11:00 and last until 22:00. The organizers have divided the venue into two stages: «My Generation» for proven hits and «Freedom, Youth, and Punk Rock» for young performers.

The «My Generation» stage will open at 11:00 with the project «Rubinstein XIII,» named after the address of the Leningrad Rock Club. The ensemble, consisting of stage veterans, will perform covers of songs by Kino, Alisa, and ZooPark. Then will follow NADI, Klyuchevaya, Sozvezdie N, and Yad Sayya.

At 13:00 on the same stage, Trubetskoy will appear — a project of former members of Lyapis Trubetskoy led by Pavel Bulatnikov. The group formed after the band«s breakup in 2014 and performs familiar hits. Next are scheduled performances by Zmii, Monahova, Raznye Lyudi, Dvoynaya Sploshnaya, and OSPV.

The evening block starts at 16:00 with Vadim Samoilov, who will present the golden hits of Agatha Christie. After him, Torba-na-kruche and Angel NeBes will take the stage.

At 19:00, the set of the band AnimatsiYa starts with permanent leader Konstantin Kulyasov. Their signature song is «Rodina.» Then Matvey Alert will perform, followed by Pilot, known since the late 1990s and famous for philosophical lyrics. The program on the «My Generation» stage will conclude with the band Alisa — a legend of Russian rock.

The second stage, «Freedom, Youth, and Punk Rock,» also offers a rich program. During the day, Troll Gnet Yel will perform, and in the evening, Sektor Gaza with a tribute to Yuri Khoy and the band Yorsh. The day on this stage will end with St. Petersburg metalcore band RAVANNA, founded in 2011 by musician and blogger Nik Chernikov.

In addition to music, guests can expect various entertainments. A zone with attractions, games, and animators will be organized for children. Also on the park grounds will be a sports area with competitions, an acoustic stage for poets and bards, art exhibitions, and a food court. History enthusiasts can visit a photo exhibition dedicated to the festival«s 25-year journey.

The Okna Otkroy festival has been held in St. Petersburg since 2001 and is considered one of the oldest rock festivals in the country. Its mission is to unite recognized rock stars and give young talented bands a chance to show themselves.
