Figure skater Alina Zagitova from Izhevsk has denied information that she will become the host of a political talk show. The Olympic champion gave a comment in her Telegram channel.

The fake news that the athlete from Udmurtia would become the host of the political talk show «The Big Game» (16+) was published on the website of the satirical publication «Panorama». According to the author of the material, Zagitova wrote a post in her Telegram channel that allegedly serves as confirmation of her participation in the famous show:

«Politics? Why not. It was inevitable. I»ve been to Japan, and to Chinania, and to Germland. I communicated there with our smaller brothers. There is nothing complicated here, especially for a professional.«

Below the news text, the editorial staff left a note that all texts posted on the «Panorama» portal are grotesque parodies of reality and cannot serve as a reliable source of information.

Nevertheless, the figure skater decided to comment on these rumors. In her Telegram channel, Alina Zagitova wrote the following:

«Friends, don»t believe the fake news that I have become the host of a political talk show. It«s not true. I remain with Channel One as the host of »Ice Age«. A new season is coming soon!»

Let us recall that the Olympic champion announced her return to «Ice Age» (6+) on January 10 to the subscribers of her Telegram channel.

«I am very happy to return to »Ice Age« as a host!!! During my absence, I myself missed our project, team, and viewers very much and felt how much you missed me. Together with Alexei Konstantinovich, we will try to make this season truly cool and special for every viewer. Thank you to everyone who waited and supported — we have a new, very bright season ahead!» the athlete wrote.
