Ural Bonnie and Clyde Detained for Acid Attack Attempt
In Yekaterinburg, 35-year-old Eduard Seredyuk and 27-year-old Ksenia Vladimirova have been arrested. They are accused of attempting to murder a mother of four on the orders of her ex-husband. Here is what is known about the Ural Bonnie and Clyde, who chose acid as their weapon.

In 2015, Eduard was convicted by the Kirovsky District Court to 12 years for attempted large-scale drug trafficking (Article 30, Part 4, Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He was released after nine years, in 2023 (according to one version, through a contract with «Wagner»). After his release, he worked at the «Wagner Center».
Also, an individual entrepreneurship (IP) was registered in his name, engaged in construction and installation work. Possibly, to not harm his business, in court Eduard hid his face and walked with a sweater on his head.
The would-be killer was interested in sports, motorcycles, military-themed channels, «guy» prose, and security structures. Eduard has no wife or children, according to him. His education is nine grades. He committed the crime due to feelings for his beloved and money.
According to the investigation, it was Eduard who splashed acid on Alena, the ex-wife of «Yermak-TV» director Nikolai Yermakov (on his order).
Now he is accused of attempted murder committed for hire (Part 3 of Article 30, Clause «z» of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Eduard partially admitted guilt, stating that he did not intend to kill Alena. He also claimed that he does not plan to hide or put pressure on the investigation.
To mitigate his fate, Eduard told how he transported humanitarian aid for soldiers and spoke about his patriotic position. The court arrested him for one and a half months.

27-year-old Ksenia Vladimirova was also convicted for drugs in 2022 (Part 2 of Article 228.1), but received a suspended sentence (three and a half years), which recently ended. According to the investigation, it was she who connected Eduard (the perpetrator) and Nikolai (the customer).
The native of Chelyabinsk Region is accused of complicity in attempted murder committed for hire (Part 5 of Article 33, Part 3 of Article 30, Clause «z» of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In court, the girl did not put anything on her head like her accomplice, but was in a medical mask. She also partially admits guilt, claiming that the novice killers only wanted to harm the victim«s health.
«We didn»t want to kill. If we wanted to kill, we would have killed,« Ksenia assured in court.
It is known that the girl suffers from certain mental disorders, has health and relationship problems, takes pills, and cannot get a permanent job (by education, she is a cook-confectioner). The girl asked to go to the special military operation (SMO), but she was not taken. Despite the defense«s arguments, Ksenia, like Eduard, was arrested until March 11.
According to Ksenia, the customer complained to her about his ex-wife and assured her and Eduard that for such an attack they could be charged with at most minor or moderate harm to health (Article 112 and Article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), which would be investigated (and no one would be caught) by the local police officer. Thus, Nikolai allegedly wanted to «scare» his ex and take revenge on her for past grievances.
None of them expected such public resonance and a serious charge (attempted murder for hire). Now both hapless killers face a substantial term, up to ten years in a colony. Both have expressed willingness to cooperate with the investigation.

We reported how the suspects in the attack were detained. Alena, who was splashed with acid, said that she left her ex-husband in February 2025 due to domestic violence. She may require a skin transplant.
