In Sarapul, a 63-year-old pedophile from the Karakulinsky District was convicted for corrupting a minor. The victim was his goddaughter, according to the United Press Service of the Courts of Udmurtia.
The man invited his goddaughter to visit during summer vacations over three years, when she was under 14. He enticed her into the house with offers to play on the computer, but it went beyond harmless games. Under the guise of «sex education,» he showed her hentai and molested her to «satisfy his base desires.»
A criminal case was opened under Part «b» of Article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, «Violent acts of a sexual nature.»
An expert examination found the perpetrator has pedophilic disorder, which does not preclude his sanity.
The man never admitted guilt. The Sarapul District Court sentenced him to 15 years in a strict-regime colony and ordered compulsory psychiatric treatment.
