As clarified by a source from NGS24.RU, it concerns Stanislav Makhov. According to the agency, in December 2024, Makhov conspired with an acquaintance who was a realtor to inflate the cost of housing intended for orphans. He wanted to appropriate part of the money for himself.

Thus, advertisements were posted online for the sale of one-room apartments in Dudinka at a price of about 3.8 million rubles (approximately $42,000 at current rates) — the price was inflated twofold. The actual market value of a one-room apartment in Dudinka at that time was approximately 1.8 million rubles (about $20,000).

Based on these advertisements, Stanislav Makhov prepared documents on the average cost per square meter of housing. After that, the district administration«s education department purchased two apartments using budget funds for a total of over 7.6 million rubles (about $84,000). Thus, the accused — the realtor and Makhov himself — stole almost 1.2 million rubles (approximately $13,000). The money was from the budget.

A criminal case for fraud has been initiated against the accomplices, which could lead to up to 10 years of imprisonment. Makhov himself admitted guilt and said that he sincerely regrets what he did.

The prosecutor in court insisted on custody, as the official could pressure subordinates and other witnesses, as well as hinder evidence gathering. The court agreed with this position, and Makhov was taken into custody until March 18, 2026.

Earlier NGS24.RU reported that former deputy transport minister of Krasnoyarsk Krai Alexander Mordanya was detained on suspicion of receiving a bribe on a particularly large scale.
