The Kirovsky District Court sent a Siberian man to a pretrial detention center (SIZO) on suspicion of setting his German shepherd on an ambulance paramedic. This was reported by the Novosibirsk Region Prosecutor«s Office and the Investigative Committee.
According to the investigation, on July 11, an ambulance crew arrived at the man«s call. The Siberian was drunk and disagreed with the decision to send him to a different hospital.
«The investigation established that the accused, using a German shepherd dog as a weapon, intentionally caused bodily harm to a doctor of the mobile emergency medical team in the form of multiple bite wounds to soft tissues, in connection with the latter»s performance of her official duties,« the Novosibirsk Region Prosecutor»s Office explained.
The Siberian is suspected under paragraphs «b» and «z» of Part 2 of Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: «Intentional infliction of moderate bodily harm against a person performing official duties, using objects used as weapons.» The man was sent to a pretrial detention center.
Earlier, it was reported that in Novosibirsk, a dog, presumably of a fighting breed, attacked a small dog in the Zatulinsky residential area. After that, it lunged at passersby.
