Riazan Man Charged with Murder of Cohabitant's Son
The man himself confessed to the murder and showed where he burned the body of his cohabitant«s son.
Charges have been brought against the alleged murderer of 26-year-old Dmitry Khokkonen. This was reported on January 27 by YA62.RU from the press service of the Investigative Committee for the Riazan Region.
At first, the accused confirmed that he had seen Dmitry, but admitted to the murder.
Dmitry Khokkonen stopped making contact in late December 2025. In early January, his worried mother contacted the police, and a search began.
And the last person to see the missing young man was his mother«s 39-year-old cohabitant. The man told investigators that Dmitry had allegedly left in an unknown direction.
According to the investigation, on the night of December 28, 2025, the men drank alcohol and quarreled. Khokkonen«s mother»s cohabitant beat him to death on the head and body. From the injuries, Dmitry died in the apartment.
To hide the traces of the crime, the mother«s cohabitant threw her son»s body into a trash pit, covered it with branches, and set it on fire. All this took place on the property near the house — later the accused himself showed the location and confessed to the crime.
Currently, the man accused of murdering Dmitry Khokkonen is in a pre-trial detention center.
