This concerns Ruslan Abdullin, whose full title is «head of the 4th department of the Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Orenburg Region». Previously, the Leninsky District Court of Orenburg sent him to a pre-trial detention center until February 27, and now the region«s main court has sided with the prosecution — Abdullin remains in custody.

56.RU reported that earlier, two of Abdullin«s subordinates were also taken into custody — Shafkhat Shamshaev (a deputy who also failed to appeal the pre-trial measure) and Denis Faizullin. Both are accused under the same part of the same article. The press service of the police department stated that all three will be dismissed from the service if their guilt is confirmed.
